Set your primary category to General Contractor. Add every relevant secondary category for your specialization. The categories you add determine which searches trigger your listing. A contractor who adds Kitchen Remodeling, Bathroom Renovation, and Home Addition as secondary categories captures significantly more relevant queries than one with only General Contractor.
Photos matter more for contractors than for most service categories because project quality is the primary purchase decision factor. Upload minimum 40 high-quality completed project photos organized by project type. Before-and-after pairs are especially powerful.
Review Strategy for Contractors
